Stronger Together

Our Mission

The Little Village Community Council was founded in 1967. The mission of the council has always been to serve the community. There are many resources that our community lacks and though the hard work of our Board of Directors and volunteers, we aim to bring resources to the community that will help residents of Little Village lead a better life.

Our Community

Our Little Village community is home to close to 75,000 people. It is one of the largest Mexican American communities it the city and in the country. Our community is rich in culture, many are bilingual and it’s full of hard working people.  We work to help the people providing services with the people who need them.

Volunteer Service

We always have a need for volunteers at the council. There are many events that take place at the Little Village Community Council, and they are all lead by volunteers. We always welcome volunteers and work with our youth and community schools to give them credits for their service hours.
